Updates on Children who attended the America Maya Mission School
which closed after one year due to lack of funding resources.

Current programs in need of support include:

Children and Adult Vitamin Program – when you travel to Playa del Carmen you can bring vitamins with you or make a donation to support this program. Vitamins provide a healthy foundation to ensuring children and families have the essential building blocks to continue to grow and development.

Economic Development – your donations can continue the micro-lending program for struggling families where business licenses, advice and funding for inventory and other needs are provided. Current programs supported by these donations include business consulting, an inventory lending program and assistance to obtain licenses and permits.

Volunteers to Change Lives - if you wish to volunteer your time and resources for a period of 6-12 months, there are several programs that can be implemented which can changes lives dramatically. Programs that require this commitment include:

 Get the Children in School Program -- assisting families in securing documentation required to enroll their children in public school and working with them to enroll their children in school. This program needs sponsorship to implement or more than an individual case scale.

Literacy, Nutrition and Family Health Program -- teaching hard working illiterate adults basic writing and literacy skills and working with them to improve their health. The foundation is prepared to organize medical and educations missions.

Both of these programs required dedication to implement and maintain. Unfortunately, at present, no funds are available to pay stipends or salaries and would required 100% volunteer effort. For more information on these and other volunteer opportunities, please contact us.
